Terms of Service

1. Who we are

School of Fresh (“SOF,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a non-profit barber training school. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of schooloffresh.com (the “Site”) and any donations, purchases, bookings, or applications you submit through it. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms.

2. Donations

Donations made through the Site are processed securely by Stripe. Donations are voluntary and, except where required by law or where we determine a donation was made in error (e.g. duplicate charge), are non-refundable. A donation receipt is issued automatically by Stripe to the email address you provide at checkout.

3. Store purchases

When our storefront is live, purchases of barbering products are processed through Stripe. Order confirmation, pricing, and fulfillment details will be provided at checkout and in your order summary.

4. Bookings and requests

Booking a service or submitting an Organization Event Request (“Book Us”) through the Site is a request, not a confirmed appointment. No date, service, or event is finalized until School of Fresh directly confirms it with you. We reserve the right to decline or reschedule any request.

5. Applications and the student pipeline

Submitting an application (student, instructor, or volunteer) does not guarantee acceptance into any program. Acceptance, enrollment, and curriculum-stage progress are determined at our discretion. The Site does not host lesson content, video instruction, or coursework — it is limited to application intake and status/progress lookup.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Site, its accounts, or its underlying systems
• Submit false, fraudulent, or malicious information through any form on the Site (donation, checkout, booking, application, or event request)

7. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, and design — is owned by or licensed to School of Fresh and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our written permission.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, School of Fresh is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
